Kerberos configuration manager for SQL Server

Microsoft has released a Kerberos configuration manager tool for SQL Server.  I have not tested it yet but could be very usefull.

The tool can perform the following functions:

  • Gather information on OS and Microsoft SQL Server instances installed on a server.
  • Report on all SPN and delegation configurations on the server.
  • Identify potential problems in SPNs and delegations.
  • Fix potential SPN problems.

Live from Paris

It’s day 2 of the ConfSharePoint in Paris.  So far it’s a great conference, well organized, great sessions.  Yesterday I presented a session to help the attendees to discover the new features for end users in SharePoint 2013, most of the attendees where running SharePoint 2010 and are planning to move to SharePoint 2013 in the next months.

This morning there is a key note on Social.  Na Young Kwon from Microsoft started the keynote with Ludovic Magne from Yammer.  During the session the message was clear: For Microsoft “Social = cloud = yammer ».  If you are not using Yammer yet, I think you should start getting used to it.
