Next month I will be in Paris to participate in the Conf’SharePoint as a speaker.  I am also helping the organizing committe for the conference.  We are very happy with the agenda of the three days.  We have a great list of speakers with some of the top french speaking SharePoint experts including  a total of 18 MVPs and one MCM.

The conference is mainly in French.  But if you don’t speak French and always wanted to visit Paris, the following sessions will be  held in English:

I am on my way to Québec City for the SharePoint Summit, I have been on the organizing committee for the SharePoint Summit for the past 3 years and I will also be presenting a session on upgrade/migration to SharePoint 2013 on tuesday.

This year (like other years) we have a great list of speakers for the conference.  Even if most of the conference is in French, there will be a few sessions in English from (Reza Alirezaei, Saguenay Baruss, Mike Maadarani, Bruce Miller, Eli Robillard and Joel Oleson).

The MVP community will be well represented by the 4 SharePoint MVPs from Québec (Alain Lord, Benjamin Niaulin, Nicolas Georgeault and Serge Tremblay)  There will be also 2 French MVPs (Guillaume Meyer and Kevin Trelohan), 1 MVP from Belgium (Serge Luca) and 2 Toronto MVPs (Reza Alirezaei and Eli Robillard).

Looking forward for a great SharePoint week.

SharePoint 2013 learning roadmaps

Microsoft has published  learning roadmaps for SharePoint 2013.   A Learning Roadmap provides a methodical approach to help you build expertise as you achieve a series of learning goals. You start with prerequisites and then build on your knowledge and experience in levels:

  •      Introductory (level 100)
  •      Intermediate (level 200)
  •      Advanced (level 300)
  •      Expert (level 400)

Each section of a Learning Roadmap contains an ordered list of steps, which you should perform in the recommended order. Each step points to a resource (a Microsoft or third-party article, white paper, video, book chapter, blog post, and so on) and states a learning goal. After you meet the knowledge or experience requirements of a learning goal, move on to the next step.
